Terms and Conditions
These are the terms and conditions, of which a signature would need to be obtained before hire.
Definitions:
The following definitions apply when relating to the terms and conditions outlined below:
“Us”, “We”, “Ourselves”, “Our” refers only to Timber Games.
“Customer”, “Yourself/yourselves”, “You”, “Your”, “Hirer” refers only to the person responsible of the booking.
Hire Duration:
Hire duration is agreed prior to the event. Should the hirer want to extend or reduce the pre agreed hours, then they are to request this change at least 48 hours prior to the event.
Responsibility:
Once delivered, responsibility is with the hirer during the duration of the hire period. Responsibility includes during use of the games, therefore, you are responsible for any damages that occur to the games. Responsibility is handed back to Timber Games upon collection of the goods.
All items hired remain the exclusive property of Timber Games throughout hire period.
Quotes and Booking:
Quotes are valid for 30 days.
In order to secure your requested date either:
Pay full balance or
Payment of damage deposit - non-refundable if full payment not achieved
Payment and Deposit:
Full payment is required a month before the date of use. The damage deposit will be returned (within 14 days of event) if the goods are returned in an acceptable, reusable condition.
Failure to pay the full amount, the month before the event, will result in no good released and the deposit non refunded.
Cancellation:
In all cases the damage deposit will not be refunded. Any other refund due to you will be paid within 14 days.
If you need to cancel the following refunds will apply based on the number of days notice given.
More than 31 days before the hire period – full balance minus the damage deposit
28 to 7 days before the hire period – 50% of hire total
Less than 7 days before the hire period – Nil
Cancellation by us:
We have the right to amend or cancel bookings in the case of dangerous and extreme weather conditions resulting in us being unable to deliver/collect the hire items. Where an order is cancelled by us a full refund will be made. We will not be liable for any compensation, fees, costs or losses as a result of our cancellation, rearrangement of delivery/collection or refusal or amendments to any booking.
Amendments:
Providing the requested amendments are available, requests need to be made 7 days before use. If there is a difference to be paid or refunded, this will be enacted once the request is authorised.
Sub Hire and Refusal of Hire:
Sub-hiring of any items hired is not permitted. We have the right to refuse hire if it/they do not fit our company values.
Photography:
By signing the pre-rental agreement, you give permission for us to take pictures for use of our website and social media channels. The hirer has full right to not give permission.
If the hirer and users take pictures to be placed on social media, it is requested that permission is given from ourselves.
Checking & Signing:
All goods hired must be signed for by either the hirer or an allocated adult prior and after use. If damages occur, these will be noted at this point or up to 24 hours after the event.
Liability and Insurance:
Timber Games will not accept any responsibility or accountability for any damage or injury caused to any person, object, property or/and animal as a consequence of the use of any hired item in the duration of hire. Timber Games will not be liable for any direct or indirect costs due to loss or damage.
Responsibility is with the hirer from point of signing over the goods. Therefore, the hirer is responsible for the safe hire of the products. Thus, we recommend that all children are supervised by a responsible adult at all points whilst using the goods. Timber Games has public liability insurance but it does not cover the products once signed over. Therefore, suitable insurance will be required by the hirer for the event.

Every effort to represent items and provide information accurately on our website and photographs. We cannot be responsible for any consequences. Pictures on the website might slightly differ from the real product due to design changes, but these will be raised with the client upon hire. Regardless of changes of design, the products will still be in keeping with the Timber Games branding.
